Publisity stunt in the Parliment?

Bismillah,

Yesterday is the first day of the second session of the Parliment. I send at least six smses to the member of parliments wish them all the best, and looking forward to seeing them in action.

I got few replies thanking me on the messages later. Earlier I wonder why some didnt reply my smses, i thought they must be very busy attending more important issues rather that replying mine. Ah...no big deal lorr...

Later i found that there are a big kecoh in the parliment. YB Nizar make a 'stunt' in his first day in the Augutst House. He shout 'Bubar DUN' (Disolve the State Assembly of Perak) and wearing head gear 'Bubar DUN - Disolve the State Assembly' just minutes after swearing as the newest MP. Alamak....apa ni YB Nizar? Why? Why? Why? (Remeber the famous cry by Kak Pidah? Huhu...) YB Nizar, can't you just wait for a bit later? Dont you know for that 'stunt', you might have break the world record as the fastest MP suspended from Parliment? That is not too bad right? The Speaker Pandikar Amin disbanded him plus six other MPs from the house. Those suspended including YB Ngor and YB Nga, both are from Perak like YB Nizar too. To my suprise YB Kuala Selangor Dr Dzul and YB Kuala Krai Dr Hatta Ramli which are not from Perak were also suspended for copying the same act.

I wonder why only seven of the opposition MPs wearing the head gear? Yang lain tak sokong ker? Why aren't head of Opposition YB Permatang Pauh Anwar, YB Bachok Ustaz Nasha, YB Ipoh Timur LKS join the troops? Yang aku kurang faham ialah kenapa la YB Dr Dzul dan Dr Hatta Ramli pun turut terheret dalam kancah ini? Kalau setakat dia orang sokong ker protes ker aku faham. Tapi tak payah lah pakai head gear macam Nizar. MP Pas lain tak pakai pun la....kan dah kena gantung YB....

I am a bit disappointed. Sometimes I am expecting more intellectual approach and deed from the more intellect and knowledgable MPs compare to others... While i may agree for the DUN of Perak to be disolved, I disagree with the 'buat kecoh' approach. Publisity stunt or what?

Rehman
